Tiziana Perri
Tiziana Perri received her Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences from the University of Basilicata. She previously worked as a contract researcher at the Department of Chemistry, University of Basilicata, on chemical and biochemical aspects of elastin-like polypeptides as precursors of biomaterials for cardiovascular prostheses. During that time he collaborated on the European research project, called Bio-insecticides from Insect Parasitoids (BIP). He worked as an analytical chemist for the Basilicata Regional Agency for Environmental Protection (ARPAB), as a member of a task force of the Ministry of the Environment and Protection of Land and Sea – Directorate for Environmental Research and Development, specializing in analytical methods for the assessment of micro-pollutants in water, soil and air. Currently, his area of expertise is on the environmental legislation in force in Italy, and the diffusion of pollutants in water, soil and air. Since 2011, she has been working with FEEM (Viggiano office), as a senior researcher, expert in chemistry and analytical methods aimed at environmental research, on a project aimed at assessing the environmental impact of anthropogenic pressures, including those resulting from oil extraction, in Val d’Agri (Basilicata, Italy).
